Floor Jansen: Revamped, reenergized
and ready to kick ass.

1. DEPECHE MODE “Home” — I know it’s bad [to say], but I recently found about out this song. It’s very pretty.

2. EVERGREY “Still In The Water” — It’s a very melancholic song, and I’m a sucker for that kind of stuff. I like it very much.

3. ALTER BRIDGE “Blackbird” — Myles Kennedy’s voice is so great. They are great songwriters, and the guitar sound, my God!

4. THE DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT “Supercrush!” — I like the combination of his voice with Anneke van Giersbergen. It’s also very melancholic. He manages to go from extreme screams to an almost operatic voice. Devin Townsend can do so many things with his voice, and I really like him as a songwriter, too.

5. DISTURBED “Inside The Fire” — The groove of the song is very good, and I really like David’s vocals. The vocals lines and rhythmics in their music is really unique.
It’s hard to make something that hasn’t
been done a hundred million times, but
the way he combines things is original again.
