2010 is the year of the geek girl at San Diego Comic Con International. There is an unprecedented amount of programming geared towards women this year, and it was completely gratifying to attend the Geek Girls Exist panel on Thursday evening and see that the room the Con allotted for this program was filled to capacity. They were actually turning away people at the door! Geek girls are here, they’re loud and they’re proud – get used to it!

This was great for those of us who didn’t get to attend and to give hope for those who try to make it next year! Love it! You know what else I love is my employee DISH Network subscription so that I can watch G4 in High Definition. I hope to see you ladies next year! Geek for Life!
