The Funny Sad Adventures Of Misery Bear

Misery Bear makes me laugh,
then feel sad.

I was recently turned on to Misery Bear, the star of various BBC Comedy shorts. He’s a lonely teddy bear who is trying to fill the void of his empty existence. That sounds depressing, but these original vignettes strike a great balance between pathos and hilariousness, and the fact that creators Nat Saunders and Chris Hayward have brought him to life and made us feel sympathy for him is absolutely brilliant.

Check out the following three shorts (there are a few more that have been made), the last of which is an awesome zombie parody called Dawn Of The Ted, for which a sequel was made.

Long live Misery Bear!
