I just bought the first album on vinyl a few weeks back. Blackfield I is amazing.
Of course, any self respecting facn will already have this recording, so since I have mine I won’t enter the contest, however if you are on the fence about Blackfield, then this or either of the two prior studio recordings are a safe investment. These guys are great together!
Still under amazing impression after polish show!! One of these bands you can’t live without!!
I won’t want to miss it!

Great band! Steven Wilson has a knack for choosing amazingly talented collaborators, and Aviv Geffen is among the best of this select group. Thanks for yet another enjoyable interview and the opportunity to enter this CD giveaway.
I’m so broke that I had to chose between the vinyl and the CD…the vinyl won. I’d still like to have the CD, so it’d be great if I won.
I have this album in all its forms but entered this contest so if I win I can give the CD to a friend…I always feel that if people would only give it a chance they’d be just as dumbstricken as I am by the incredible beauty of BF’s music.
Blackfield-3 (Welcome to the DNA) in its integrity, is almost like DNA itself. You don’t know if its there deep inside you, until it starts growing on yourself after a couple of listenings.
The albums they come up with just mind blowing!! I need to listen to at least 3 of their songs daily to feed my musical hunger!! Its just sad I still couldn’t own a single CD since I’m living in country FAR FAR from where you guys live. Hope to own one finally! Thanks a lot this AWESOME opportunity!
