Six Songs To Rock The Storm

With Hurricane Irene tearing things up along the eastern coast of the United States, I thought it would be an apropos time to assemble a list of songs to help many of us get through the storm. I sought to be eclectic and not so obvious in my choices to keep things interesting. These might not exactly provide shelter, but maybe we can blow off some nervous steam before the rain pours in.

SCORPIONS “Rock You Like A Hurricane” — A storm under the sheets.

THEATRE OF TRAGEDY “Storm” — A storm of deceptive passion.

U2 “Electrical Storm” — A storm of longing.

BIG COUNTRY “The Storm” — A storm of rebellion.

SWITCHFOOT “Hello Hurricane” — Riding the storm out.

SLAYER “Raining Blood” — The storm to end all storms.
