As the fates would have it, I was in Los Angeles on Monday night for the Immortals screening and premiere party. In this high-powered action-fantasy epic directed by Tarsem Singh (The Cell), the evil King Hyperion (a ruthless Mickey Rourke) seeks the Epirus Bow, a magical weapon whose deadly arrows can cause massive destruction. The bow will help the deranged leader dominate and destroy mankind. The valiant Theseus (Henry Cavill) plans to stop him, and Greek gods including Zeus (Luke Evans) first observe and then get caught in the fray. If you crave 3D violence and bloodshed with Matrix-style effects, large scale eye candy and massive devastation, then this is your movie. Think of it as 300 meets Clash Of The Titans.
Following the screening, held at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live with 2,000 people attending, a party for a few hundred attendees was held on the event deck of the venue. Here is how the night played out.

My delayed flash meant Mickey Rourke was already checking out
the hot babes in attendance. And can I blame him?

This was actually a torture device.
Just imagine hot flames underneath.
