‘I could manage Guns N’ Roses,’ says former Van Halen man — A surefire way to draw traffic to your site, and help others entice people to theirs by quoting yours, is to have someone say something outrageous or controversial, like when Sammy Hagar told me that he could see Guns N’ Rose reuniting, and that he would manage them. When I met Hagar a week or two later, he said that GN’R drummer Matt Sorum texted him after reading about it and asked to be included if he pulled it off. That’s the best compliment yet, and having acclaimed UK paper The Guardian quote me is icing on the cake.
