1. Megadeth “Holy Wars…The Punishment Due” — “It’s the best opening riff on an album ever! And because Rust In Peace was the first metal album I bought as a kid.”

2. Opeth “The Leper Affinity” — “Can’t choose between many great Opeth tracks, but I love the Blackwater Park album a lot, so I picked one from this album.”

3. Pink Floyd “Comfortably Numb” — “One of the best bands ever, and one of the most beautiful songs ever written.”

4. Clannad “Caislean Oir” — “Youth sentiments. I love the atmosphere that this band has created. I also listened a lot to this track earlier this year when I visited the Mayan pyramids in South Mexico. It gave me goose bumps all over.”

5. Machine Head “Davidian” — “This track blew me away when it was released. The riffs sound so brutal — metal at its best! A perfect bridge between different styles, so fans from hardcore, metal, or whatever can all enjoy this track and the album Burn My Eyes.
