The Puppet Master franchise is one horror series that keeps on kicking. Since 1989, the direct-to-video series from Charles Band’s Full Moon Productions/Features has spawned no less than nine sequels and prequels and a Demonic Toys crossover, along with two comic book series from Eternity Comics, toys, collectibles and Halloween costumes. In a Full Moon video promo clip, Band declared, “We will keep making Puppet Master movies forever — I hope honestly maybe every year two years [or] 18 months. We know you love them.”

The eleventh and latest film, Puppet Master X: Axis Rising, is tentatively due out in October 2012, and two new action figures are in the pipeline for release around the same time. According to a synopsis posted on Wikipedia, the new movie is a direct sequel to Puppet Master: Axis Of Evil and promises more mayhem with new characters Blitzkreig, Bombshell, Weremecht and a Japanese puppet, Kamikaze, providing pint-sized villainy while fighting alongside Nazi agents and against our puppet protagonists.

In Fall 2012, Full Moon will also release the Stealth Pinhead and Stealth Six Shooter replica figures in limited editions of 500 units. Ten advance copies of each sold out during the current Full Moon sale that ends on July 9th. The photos below show how they really look like their cinematic characters. Pinhead has been there from the start of the franchise; Six Shooter since Puppet Master III: Toulon’s Revenge. Full Moon has put out a number of cool Puppet Master toys over the years, including Blade, Jester, Leech Woman and Tunneler.

Here is a sneak peek at the new toys. No word yet on a trailer for Axis Rising.
