Pop singer-songwriter Chloe Lowery has built up a diverse portfolio throughout her career. She landed her first record deal with RCA Records at age 12. Fresh out of high school, she toured with Janis Joplin’s legendary group Big Brother and the Holding Company. She recorded on and toured for the Yanni Voices album in 2009, and for the last decade, she has toured annually with the Christmas rock troupe Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Chloe has also performed with jazz trumpeter Chris Botti, been a soloist with the New York City Ballet, and collaborated with hard-rock guitarist Joel Hoekstra and Everclear frontman Art Alexakis. In the last few years, you might have seen her on tour, on Broadway, or on PBS with the rock and classical fusion extravaganza Rocktopia, and last year she released her dynamic debut solo album The In-Between which is an atmospheric take on modern pop music that chronicles the aftermath of a romantic heartbreak that leads to a personal rebirth.
Saying hello to Rocktopia bandmates Máiréad Nesbitt (left) and Chloe Lowery.
Outside of music, Chloe is a ballroom dancing aficionado, adores her dogs, and collects Playbills from her various theatergoing adventures. It was nice to catch up with her again. We originally met at both the media event and opening night parties for Rocktopia in 2018.
