John Cusack’s Sci-Fi Odyssey

I recently interviewed veteran film actor John Cusack in-person for Moviefone. We discussed the new disaster epic 2012, next year’s ’80s flashback comedy Hot Tub Time Machine and which type of role he has yet to try but would love to. Despite the fact that he was in the middle of a long promotional blitz and clearly needed to rest — plus the fact that I had a mere eight minutes to bombard him with all of my queries — the actor was friendly, gracious and answered all of my questions. One thing I’ve learned: Cusack shouldn’t play any more writers. Check out the intro to the story to see why!
